ERNVOCAL is Bern’s professional vocal ensemble for early music. It was founded in 2013 by its Artistic Director Fritz Krämer. Among its members are internationally renowned soloists such as Miriam Feuersinger, Dominik Wörner, Marie Lys, Peter Kooij, Hana Blažíková and Kai Wessel. The ensemble works with Maurice Steger, Sebastian Wienand, Camerata Bern, Enrico Onofri, Freitagsakademie, Václav Luks and Vital Julian Frey, among others.
Since its debut with Continuo Anthems by Purcell, the ensemble has dedicated itself to the music of Monteverdi, Gesualdo, Heinrich Schütz, Johann Hermann Schein, George Frideric Handel and J.S. Bach, but also to newly published works, for example by Biagio Marini.
