The German soprano, Felicitas Erb, received earliest voice training from Gisela Reichherzer and Thomas Pfeiffer (Musikhochschule Stuttgart). Starting in 2003 she pursued further studies at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe with Professor Marga Schiml, earning a degree in voice performance with distinction in 2008. She is devoted to Early Music and Lied and has gained valuable artistic impulses in master-classes given by Hartmut Höll, Mitsuko Shirai, Christoph Prégardien, Hilde Zadek, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Deborah York and Michael Fields. She continues to study with Evelyn Tubb and Ulrich Messthaler at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
Felicitas Erb has appeared as a soprano soloist in numerous concerts in Germany, France and Switzerland, including the Festival Europäischer Kirchenmusik Schwäbisch Gmund, Festival d'Art Sacré d'Antibes or the Akademie für Alte Musik Baden-Württemberg. She has also been awarded scholarships by the Kirchheimer Liedersommer and Edward James Foundation in West Dean. She is a member of various Early Music solo and chamber vocal ensembles (Opera Prima, Voces Celestes, Filo Rosso, Kammerchor Stuttgart), as well as the Chor der J.S. Bach-Stiftung (Director: Rudolf Lutz). She has also appeared as a guest artist at various music festivals. She is also a member of.
