Wenn ich in deiner Liebe ruh'.
Quand je repose dans ton amour.
Ich steige aus der Schwermuts-Höhlen
Je sors des profondeurs de la tristesse
Und eile deinen Armen zu.
Et me hâte vers tes bras.
Da muss die Nacht des Traurens scheiden,
Alors la nuit des chagrins doit disparaître,
Wenn mit so angenehmen Freuden
Quand avec une joie si grande
Die Liebe strahlt aus deiner Brust.
L'amour rayonne de ta poitrine.
Hier ist mein Himmel schon auf Erden,
Ici mon paradis est déjà sur terre,
Wer wollte nicht vergnüget werden,
Qui ne se réjouirait pas,
Der in dir findet Ruh und Lust.
En trouvant en toi repos et joie.
