Suzanne Flowers (Soprano)

Born: England

The English soprano, pianist and music teacher, Suzanne Flowers, studied at Blackheath High School ("O" levels and "A" levels, Music and Art, 1949-1962) and at the Royal Academy of Music in London (LRAM, ARCM, GRSM, Piano, Singing and General Music, 1962-1967).

Suzanne Flowers is a founder member of the Monteverdi Choir (Director: John Eliot Gardiner) in 1964, of which she was a member until 2005 (41 years). From 1995 to 2010 she was a free-lance soprano. From 1970 to 2011 she was a free-lance soprano and teacher of singing in various Cambridge Colleges. Having recently stopped her regular teaching in Cambridge, she is now building up my private teaching at home in Blackheath, and is continuing to do some nice singing jobs.
