Recorded live at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, Russia. This recording was broadcast live throughout all the Iron Curtain countries over the state radio network. It was released in 1987 on 3-LP's Melodiya C10 26061 002. The soloists are not listed, but Florence Kopleff, contralto and Seth McCoy, tenor are definates. David Ford from Nashville, TN, who was the bass soloist on the next two Shaw tours, including the B Minor Mass, believes that Malcolm Smith was the bass soloist and that the wonderful and recently deceased Mary Evelyn Bruce was the soprano.
