The Belgian soprano, Annelies Brants, earned her Master of Music degree in singing at the Conservatory of Antwerp with Guy de Mey. She also studied with Stefanie Friede and Lucienne Van Deyck.
Annelies Brants is a member for several years of the vocal ensemble Ex Tempore (Director: Florian Heyerick), with which she has performed regularly as a soloist. Since 2007 she co-operates in projects with Collegium Vocale Gent (Director: Philippe Herreweghe). Other ensembles she works with are Il Gardellino (Director: Marcel Ponseele), Vox Luminis (Director: Lionel Meunier), Studium Chorale (Director: Hans Leenders) and Octopus Soloists (Director: Bart Van Reyn).
Annelies Brants is also singing teacher at the Music Academies of Chapels and Brasschaat. |
