The Dutch soprano, Martha Bosch, studied at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam with Hein Turkmen and Sasha Hunnego. She attended master-classes with Marrjanne Kweksilber, Margreet Honig, Johannette Zomer, Emma Kirkby, Nelly Miricioiu, Maarten Koningsberger, Udo Reinemann and Christiane Oelze, amonf others. Currently she is coached by Wout Oosterkamp.
Martha Bosch won the Princess Christina Competition and made her debut at age 17 Bastienne in W.A. Mozart's opera Bastien und Bastienne (Residentie Orkest Den Haag, 2003). She sang opera roles in Le Nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart (De Nederlandse Opera Academie, 2007), Les Aventures du Roi Pausole by Arthur Honegger (Opera Trionfo, 2008), Die Zauberflöte by W.A. Mozart (International Belcanto Academy, 2012), and Orfeo Underground by Monteverdi (Opera Holland, 2014).
As a young, bright soprano soloist, Martha Bosch frequently performs in St. Matthew Passion (BWV 244) and St. John Passion (BWV 245) by J.S. Bach, Die Jahreszeiten by Haydn, Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi, Te Deum by Purcell, Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Magnificat by John Rutter, Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, Petit Messe Solennelle by Rossini and various cantatas by J.S. Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann. Here she has worked with conductors such as Jos van Veldhoven, Jos Vermunt, Bas Ramselaar, Wolfgang Lange, Nico van der Meel and Alfredo Bernardini.
As a much sought-choir singer Martha Bosch is associated with Cappella Amsterdam (Director: Daniel Reuss) since September 2014, Amsterdam Baroque Choir (Director: Ton Koopman since January 2013, Laurens Collegium Rotterdam (Director: Wiecher Mandemaker since 2013, PA'dam (Director: Maria van Nieukerken) and Nederlands Kamerkoor (Diretor: Peter Dijkstra).
Martha Bosch is requsted as a soloist with fanfare and concert bands. She has worked with the Andels Fanfare Orkest and the NJFO directed by Danny Oosterman. These concerts took place at home and abroad. She currently lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. |
