The Japanese soprano, Mikiko Suzuki, studied at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège in Belgium, and completed in the best of performance, was awarded the Premier Prix (Excellence Award).
Already as student in Europe, Mikiko Suzuki participated in a variety of music festivals and recordings in the USA. Her singing was highly regarded and she received rave reviews as "performance of dazzling an expressive," "beauty, not become this world of things" from overseas media. She studied singing with Yuko Suzuki, Kyoko Endo and Guy de Mey; late Baroque singing method with Ohashi Toshinari; French Baroque singing method with Jill Feldman.
Mikiko Suzuki is currently carried out an ambitious performance activity as a specialist in Renaissance-Baroque singing. In 2006, she performed a recital of French Baroque songs with Takasshi Tsunoda on lute as accompaniment, which was well received. She participated in concert of Bless B Quintet and the CD recording of Ensemble Ekurejia. She currently lives in Yokohama. |
