The Japanese tenor, Yasuo Uzuka, graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae. He passed the auditions of the newcomers sponsored by Tokyo Bunka Kaikan.
Yasuo Uzuka has appeared in operas including The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Marriage of Figaro, sacred works such as church cantatas of J.S. Bach, and in various concerts. In 2002, he moved to Italy, where he studied with Gianni Faburini, Yoko Takeda, Stefano Segedoni, Angelo Berutakki, and Paolo Barubachini. In 2003, he performed at Florence Maggio Musicale Fiorentino concerts, also appeared in apan-Italy cultural exchange concert in Modena City Guiria. Currently, he studies at Ueno Gakuen University, and is a lecturer at the same junior college and a teacher at Uenogakuen high school. |
