The German choral and orchestral conductor and cellist, Markus Teutschbein, studied at the Musikhochschulen in Rostock, Stuttgart, Weimar. He also received lessons from the members of the Melos Quartet, Gert Frischmuth among others. He also attended master-classes and internships with:Sigfried Pank, Anner Bylsma, Julius Berger, Georg Alexander Albrecht, Andrey Boreyko, Michael Dittrich, Roman Kofman, Salvador Mas Conde, Robin Gritton, Frieder Bernius, Karl-Friedrich Beringer, Daniel Barenboim, Roger Norrington
Stations and positions as conductor: Singakademie Gera, Musikschule Weimar, Suhler Singakademie, Suhler Knabenchor, Staatstheater Meiningen, Südthüringisches Chorleiterseminar, Knabenkantorei Basel, Orchesterverein Arlesheim.
