The English soprano, Angela Kazimierczuk, studied singing with Pamela Cook at the Birmingham School of Music and, while there, won the Sir Peter Pears prize and was a finalist in the Kathleen Ferrier Competition. She then joined the Royal Shakespeare Company and sang in productions of The Tempest and Love's Labours Lost.
Angela Kazimierczuk 's first operatic work was with Kent Opera for whom she sang Pamina in Die Zauberflöte and Alice in Count Ory. She has appeared at the St Endellion Festival as First Woman in Dido and Aeneas and Marzellina in Fidelio for Richard Hickox and as Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte in Italy for Sir John Eliot Gardiner.
Since her international debut in Stuttgart in 1992, singing 1st soprano in W.A. Mozart's C minor Mass, again for Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Angela Kazimierczuk has performed with the leading original instrument groups including The King's Consort, Gabrieli Consort, London Baroque, Le concert Spirituel, The Hanover Band and the English Baroque Soloists. She is also a very experienced recitalist and is available to give recitals with her pianist.
