The Dutch soprano,Melanie [Melani] Greve, studied Classical Singing at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
After finishing her studies, Melanie Greve has worked as a classical singer. Since 2005, she has had a permanent job in the the Koor van De Nationale Opera, in which she has also sung some small roles. She is also a member of the Amsterdam Baroque Choir (Director: Ton Koopman).
Yert, Melanie Greve always kept looking for 'more'. She has done courses in the field of voice reduction, mantra singing and improvisation. She started playing Ukulele, also because of her deep affinity with Hawaii and the dolphins that live there. In the end, everything came together in 'Helend Zingen' (Healing Singing) and she understood what she was looking for. Discovering this was enormously fulfilling for her. She is grateful that she can see people for whom she sings again and again in their radiant reality. 'Een Cursus in Wonderen' (A Course in Miracles) has had a special place in her heart for 25 years. She currently lives in Haarlem, the Netherlands. |
