The German soprano, Andrea Hornung-Boesen, studied singing at the Academies of Stuttgart and Trossingen with her mother Herrad Wehrung. She completed her training with regular participation in master-classes with Barbara Schlick, Professor Ernst Haefliger and Professor Jakob Stämpfli - et al.-, improving her technical skills in order to achieve a higher artistic level. These skills can be seen in both her teaching work and in her conduct of musical seminars.
Andrea Hornung-Boesen is a oncert singer since 1978 with international experience. She has performed in Switzerland, Austria, France, Great Britain, Denmark, Czech Republic, Italy, Israel as well as T.V. and Radio broadcasts. In her continuous work with renowned ensembles, she has particuliarly specialized in authentic interpretations of 17th and 18th century music. Furthermore, she has shown talent for performing Lieder and contemporary Music. |
