Javiera Barrios (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: March 18, 1996 - Santiago, Chile

The Chilean mezzo-soprano, Javiera Paz Barrios, trained in Choral Conducting and Singing at Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile. In October 2023, she won the 1st place in Jóvenes Talentos Líricos, a contest organised by the cultural corporation of Universidad de Concepción.

Javiera Barrios participates regularly as a soloist in Instituto de Música UC concerts, among which standout the Bach Santiago cycle and the Sacred Music Encounter. She has also been a soloist in concerts at the Teatro del Lago and Universidad de Santiago de Chile's Aula Magna. She currently lives in Santiago, Chile.
