The Italian violinist, Chiara Zanisi, studied at Conservatorio G.Verdi in Milan, Accademia Chigiana di Siena, Scuola Civica di Milano, Fiesole Music School, She then attended a three years Master in Lugano Hochschule with Carlo Chiarappa and then she specialized in Baroque violin in the most important Academies in Europe.
Chiara Zanisi normally plays in the most important concert halls with the finest Ancient Music Ensembles, like Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra (Director: Ton Koopman), Il Giardino Armonico (Director: Giovanni Antonini), Il Pomo d'Oro, I Barocchisti (Director: Diego Fasolis), Les Musiciens du Prince (Director: Cecilia Bartoli), La Risonanza (Director: Fabio Bonizzoni), Il Canto di Orfeo (Director: Gianluca Capuano), La Divina Armonia (Director: Lorenzo Ghielmi), Teatro alla Scala di Milano Orchestra on ancient instruments and many others. For one whole year she was the First Violin of European Union Baroque Orchestra conducted by Roy Goodman, Paul Goodwin, Lars Ulrik Mortensen.
After her Master Class about Baroque Dance and Music , with the dancer Letizia Dradi, in 2019 she will give a Course about Baroque Music for Strings in Conservatorio di Como.
Chiara Zanisi recorded a hundred CD's for Arcana, BBC, Deutsche Radio, Naxos, Dinamics, Virgin Classic, Frame, Amadeus, Ambroisie, Emi, RTSI, Chandos, CPO, Divox, Sony, Naive, Passacaille, Alphà and other labels. After her very appreciated 6 Sonatas for Harpsichord and Violin by J.S. Bach (Zanisi/Nuti, 2017), Outhere Music/Arcana released her “Suite Case - Violin Duos from Vivaldi to Sollima "(Zanisi/Barneschi, 2018), which had a big success with the press and the public. Her new project, "Suite Case 2 - duos for Violin and Cello from Vivaldi to Sollima - Giovanni Sollima & Chiara Zanisi sailing on Lady Lauren" will release on 2019 signed by Outhere Music/Arcana.
