The Grrman tenor, Hannes Wagner, received his musical education at the Musikgymnasium of the Regensburger Domspatzen. After graduation he spent more than 10 years with the Renner Ensemble Regensburg (1st prize at the Internationalen Kammerchorwettbewerb Marktoberdorf). Parallelly, he was also a singer in the Festspielchor of the Bayreuther Festspiele and the Philharmonischen Chor München.

He could be heard, for example, as Evangelist in J.S. Bach's Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248) in 2015, and as Evangelist in J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion (BWV 245) in April 2017 (with Markuskantorei, Markusorchester & Kammerchor Ostfildern, conducted by Andreas Scheufler). |
