The Israel-born tenor and artist manager, Eitan Sorek, studied Piano and Singing at the Rubin Academy of Music of Tel Aviv University and voice at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, the Nerherlands.
Eitan Sorek was a freelance professional singer in concert, opera and ensembles between 1991 and 1998. During this periuod, he was also a m member of several professional choir, including the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra (Director: Ton Koopman).
In January 2002, Eitan Sorek founded Sorek Artists Management, of which he is Owner and General Director. The company, located in Berlin, is an international general and personal management for classical music artists, specialising in opera and opera related artists: Singers, Conductors, Stage Directors, Narrators, Composers as well as tours and special projects. He regularly gives audition workshops for young singers at conservatories and opera studios and is a recurring jury member of the International Cesti Singing Competition in Innsbruck (since 2012). |
