The German soprano, Uta Scheirle, received lessons in piano, violin, voice and choral conducting. She studied music education and German studies in Stuttgart.
Uta Scheirle was and is a member of several renowned choirs, such as the Württembergischer Kammerchor, the Extrachor der Staatsoper Stuttgart and the Chor der Schlossfestspiele Ludwigsburg. For many years she sang in the Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart, under its founder and long-time director Professor Helmuth Rilling, since 2013 under the direction of Professor Hans-Christoph Rademann.
Her special passion is the couplets and chansons of the 1930's and 1940's. For several years she has worked together with pianist Kai Müller, with whom she has worked on a musical program as well as various chanson evenings and successfully brought them to the stage.
Uta Scheirle now teaches at the Remstal-Gymnasium in Weinstadt, where she is especially dedicated to the education and care of the children's voice. At the Remstal-Gymnasium she founded the Stimmbildungschor in grades 5-7, which has repeatedly won prizes at competitions. |
