The Kammerchor Münster was founded in 1975 Hermann Kreutz, who worked from 1974 to 1997 as lecturer in choral conducting and choral singing at the Musikhochschule Detmold/Abteilung Münster. Performances at the Evangelischen Kirchentag in Leipzig in 1997 marked the final point of connection with the University. However, after his retirement Hermann Kreutz continued to direct the choir until today. The repertoire of the choir consists mainly of challenging old and new sacred music. Three to four concerts are prepared every year. |
