Carl-Heinz Müller (Bass) |
Born: 1934 - Lauscha, Thuringia, Germany |
The German bass, Carl-Heinz Müller, received his first singing lessons with Eva Liebenberg in Hilversum and Ursula Bückel in Geneva, later graduating from the Academy of Music in Mannheim. He continued his vocal training with Hilde Wasselmann (Essen) and Paul Lohmann (Wiesbaden).
Carl-Heinz Müller made his debut in 1960 in Bruges, Belgium, singing the part of Christus in the St. Matthew Passion (BWV 244) by J.S. Bach. This marked the start of an international concert career as an oratorio and Lieder singer.
In 1968 Carl-Heinz Müller was employed as instructor for voice at the State Academy of Music and Theatre in Hannover, where he now (1990) has a professorship in the vocal department. |
