The Italian mezzo-soprano, Anna Chiara Coco Mugnai, studied choral singing since the age of 10; later he began her musical career with Vince Tempera at the Sette Ottavi Foundation in Milan. She also studied Vocals with Susanna Parigi, vocal trainer of the artists produced by Vince Tempera; she is currently undertaking advanced training with Patrizia Scivoletto. Currently (since 2015), she is attending the First Level Triennium in Baroque and Renaissance Vocals at the "L.Cherubini" Conservatory of Florence under the guidance of Patrizia Vaccari. She participated in master-classes in Baroque singing held by Jill Feldman at the Friends of Music in Florence, at the International Course of Renaissance Music (FLOREMUS) held by Homme Armé and at the training panel "Der Geist Von Bach" held by Umberto Cerini and Dimitri Betti.
In March 2012, Anna Chiara Mugnai joined the Music Chapel of Santa Maria del Fiore under the direction of Michele Manganelli, featuring performances such as the staging of The Nativity by Domenico Bartolucci at the Auditorium della Conciliazione in Rome. She sang as a soloist in the Concert Hall of the Cathedral of Florence for the Holy Mass presided over by Pope Francis in November 2015. She has also participated as a soloist in various concerts (Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, "O Flos Colende"), including the Passion according to John BWV 245 by J.S. Bach performed during the Da Vinci Baroque Festival. In September 2017, she sang as a soloist together with the Baroque Ensemble of the "L.Cherubini" Conservatory of Florence directed by Alfonso Fedi and the Chamber Choir of the Conservatory of Florence (Choir Master, Francesco Rizzi). She currently lives in Florence, Italy. |
