Died: March 3, 2011 - Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

The Austrian (?) bass, August Messthaler [Meßthaler], studied first music education in Vienna and Munich. However, he trained his voice, while he worked at the same time still as a teacher. His studies took place with the great singing teachers Franziska Martienssen Lohemann and Paul Lohmann.
