The German tenor, Gerhard Hölzle, was a private student of Florian Mayr, Ingrid Bettag and James Taylor.
Gerhard Hölzle has appeared as soloist mainly in Bavaria. He sings in professional formations, including the Collegium Vocale Gent, but prefers the ensemble Stimmwerck. With these ensembles he was and is involved as a freelance concert singer also on CD productions.
Gerhard Hölzle holds a doctorate in German studies and published church historian literature and church history works in journals, monographs and on the radio. He is currently studying at the Universität Augsburg Katholische Theologie. |
