The German bass, Hans [Hannes] Hauptmann, was a member of the Thomanerchor Leipzig. After his studies at the Musikhochschule Leipzig, he was bass-soloist and choral voice trainer of the Thomanerchor Leipzig until 1961. Later he was choral voice trainer of the Laubacher Kantorei (1962-19??), and choral vocal coaching of the Christophorus-Kantorei Altensteig until 1982. |
