The German bass-baritone, Georg Finger, received his first musical education in Dresdner Kreuzchor. In 2004, hew was awarded the him the Rudolf-Mauersberger-Stipendium the promotion of his musical career. In 2005, he began his singing studies with Professor Christiane Junghanns at the Hochschule für Musik "Carl Maria von Weber" in Dresden, where he graduated in 2010 with diploma. Subsequent master-studies he finished in the summer of 2012. He was a member of the Lied class of Kammersänger Olaf Bär and the concert class of Britta Schwarz. In further studies and master-classes he worked with Kammersänger Franz Grundheber, Kammersängerin Gabriele Fontana, Professor Karl Kammerlander and Professor Axel Bauni.
Georg Finger's repertoire includes works from the Baroque, Classical and Modern During his studies, he appeared in numerous productions, such as in 2010 as Papageno in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at the Kleinen Haus in Dresden. |
