The German bass-baritone, Ralf Döring, studied at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig.
Ralf Döring was subsequently taken on by leading opera houses in Germany and then in Europe, Asia, the USA and Australia. Having taught at the Universität Bamberg and the Hochschule für Musik Mannheim, he currently is a professor in singing singing and performing arts at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. He was a jury member at the Queen Elisabeth Competition of 2014.
