The Moldovan baritone, Alexei Digore (Moldovan: Алексей Дигоре), studied at the Academia de Muzica Teatru si Arte Plastice (AMTAP) (Academy of Music, Theater and Arts) in Chisinau (Class of 2000). He continued his studies at the Academy Of Music "G.Muzicescu" Moldova & Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig ,Germany (2002-2003).
Alexei Digore has been an ensemble member of the Teatrul National de Opera si Balet Maria Biesu (National Opera and Ballet Theatre) in Chisinau since 2008. Among his recent roles there: Il Sagrestano in Tosca (October-December 2014; October 2015-March 2016; April 2017; November 2017-April 2018); Company Commander in Yevgeny Onegin (December 2014-January 2015); Dr Falke in Die Fledermaus (December 2014-January 2015; April 2016; November 2017-March 2018); Marchese d'Obigny in La traviata (October 2015-April 2016); Kromow in Die lustige Witwe (January-April 2016; November 2016); Le Dancaïre in Georges Bizet's Carmen (February 2016; January-April 2017; November 2017-April 2018); Doctor Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia (October 2016); Dulcamara in L'elisir d'amore (October 2016-May 2017; October 2017-April 2018); Antonio in W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro (February 2017; February 2018); Benoît in La bohème (December 2017-February 2018); Signor Geronimo in Il matrimonio segreto (January-April 2018).
Alexei Digore was also a member of Brio Sonores ensemble. In April 2018, he participated in the Festivalul Internaţional J.S. Bach, singing the solo Cantata Ich habe genung, BWV 82 and Magnificat BWV 243 with the National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova under the baton of Cristian Florea. He married Elena Digore on January 21, 2005 and currently lives in Chisinau, Moldova. |
