The Spanish tenor, Emiliano Cano Diaz, studied singing with Celia Alcedo and Miguel Bernal, and also received classes from Andrew King, Christian Immler, Carlos Mena, Cristina Miatello and Gerd Türk. Likewise, he has a degree in Fine Arts and has an extensive career as a researcher and filmmaker of documentaries on art and music topics.
Emiliano Cano regularly collaborates with various early music groups: The Labyrinth of Voices, Coro Victoria, Quondam, Conductus Ensemble, Concentus König (Director: Jorge Suárez), Ensemble Guerrero, La Fortuna, Capella Prolationum, La Capilla Real de Madrid (Director: Óscar Gershensohn), etc. and since 2010 he has been part of the Coro Nacional de España. As a soloist he has participated in the symphonic cycle and “satélites” of the OCNE, Festival de Música Religiosa de Cuenca, Festival de Almagro, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Abu-Gosh Music Festival (Israel), Octobre Musical de Carthage (Tunisia), and in the early music festivals in Málaga, Daroca and Vélez-Blanco. |
