The Chilean soporano, Andrea Aguilar, began her vocal studies in 2002 with Professor Hans Stein in the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile. The year 2004 continues with Professor Sergio Gomez at the Instituto de Música de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (IMUC) in Santiago. In 2005 she attended regular classes with the Chova Professor Ana Luisa in the Conservatory of Music at the Polytechnic University in Valencia (Spain ) and Carmen Luisa Bustamante Professor at the Conservatory of Music, at the Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain). In master-class Asistea Moureen Soprano Marambio, she sang Fiordiligi arias from W.A. Mozart's opera Cosi fan tutte.
Andrea Aguilar has participated as a soloist in many choral symphonic works, galas of lyric opera concerts in the most important concert seasons in Santiago, Viña del Mar, Talca, Valdivia, Punta Arenas, and the Noon Concert Teatro Municipal Hotels guest. Her choral-symphonic repertoire and chamber includes Stabat Mater by Scarlatti; Stabat Mater" Giovanni Battista Pergolesi; Troiseme Leçons de ténèbres by François Couperin; Lutheran Mass in G major (BWV 236), Christmas Oratorio (BWV 248) and Mass in B minor (BWV 232) by J.S. Bach; Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi; Dixit Dominus and The Messiah by George Frideric Handel; Masses brevis in Bb major and D minor, Mass in C major, Vesperae solennes de confessore and Requiem by W.A. Mozart; Requiem by Johannes Brahms. She has performed under the baton of the conductors Victor Alarcon, Pablo Alvarado, Jose Luis Domínguez, Hugo Muñoz, Juan Manuel Quintana, Luis José Recart, Alejandro Reyes and Jorge Sharp.
In the operatic genre Andrea Aguilar has excelled playing the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte and Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, both by W.A. Mozart, next to the Opera House of the Catholic University under the direction of Miriam Singer and musical direction Pablo Alvarado , Eduardo Brown, Santiago Meza. She has played the role of Nella in the opera Gianni Schicci by Puccini, together with the Chair of Professor Sergio Gomez Singing and under his direction. She has also the role of Proserpina in the opera Orfeo by Monteverdi, under the direction of Juan Manuel Quintana. - |
