The German tenor, Hans-Joachim Weber, received his singing training with the soprano Ursula Weber Lopatka. From 1989 he studied musicology in Tübingen and participated in singing classes, including with Jessica Cash (London) and Karlheinz Jarius (Frankfurt).
In addition to his work as a concert singer in oratorios and Lieder, Hans-Joachim Weber also works in various professional ensembles such as the Kammerchor Stuttgart (Director: Frieder Bernius) and the Rheinische Kantorei (Director: Hermann Max). As a soloist, he was heard at the European Church Music Festival in Schwäbisch Gmünd, the Sebastian-Sailer-Tagen in the Kloster Obermarchtal or the Welt-AIDS-Musiktagen in Stuttgart, including in Haydn's Schöpfung, and J.S. Bach's Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248). In addition, since 1993 he is regularly involved in productions of the Tübinger Kammeroper, as well as various free opera projects. |
