Adelheid Vogel (Soprano)

Born: 1956 - Leipzig, Saxony, Germany

The German soprano, Adelheid Vogel, studied singing with Professor Eva Schubert at the Leipzig College of Music.

From 1879 to 1991 Adelheid Vogel was under contract to the Leipzig Opera performing there in practically all soprano roles. Since 1993 she has been working as a freelance recitalist, and regularly sings with the Leipzig St. Thomas Choir and Gewandhaus Orchestra, with the Symphony Orchestra of the Central German Broadcasting Services and on radio, television and commercial recordings.

In addition Adelheid Vogel teaches at the Leipzig College of Music and Drama.
