The Hungarian guitarist, Bence Vas, studied violin at Kiskunfélegyháza State School of Music (1978-1981); guitar at State Music School Kiskunfélegyháza (1983-1985); guitar & piano at Kecskeméti M. Bodon Pál Music School (1985-1990); guitar at Pécs Art High School (1991-1992); organ at Pope Chanting (1991-1992); lute & tenor gamba at Early music camp in Szentendre (1992-1993). He connued his studies at Liszt Ferenc College of Music Pécs Teacher Training Institute (1992-1996); Liszt Ferenc College of Music, University Department (1996-1998); obtained his DLA degree from Bratislava Academy of Music (2000-2004); and Sound Master, Sound Technician (2005-2006).
Bence Vas has worked as teacher of guitar, music history, church music at Pécs Reformed College (1995-1997); guitar, chamber music teacher at Pécs Secondary School of Art (1995-2012); and was leader/director at Pécs Educators' House Association Guitar Club (1995-2008). In this post he organised regular guitar festivals.
