Shaked Stroll is a graduate of Thelma Yelin High School for arts in Givatayim, majoring in classical music. During her studies she performed as a soloist with the school choir in Israel and on tours in France, Germany and Belgium. After completing her military service as an outstanding musician, she enrolled in studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where she studied for her Master of Music degree in the classical performance department, under the guidance of Mrs. Marina Levit and Dr. Ido Ariel. She participated in a classical singing workshop, guided by the technique teacher Ami Shamir from Israel and the mezzo-soprano Rita Dams from the Netherlands. In 2015, she came in 2nd place in the Zamboki competition, as part of the international workshop for artistic poetry in Jerusalem. She received the Eli Leon scholarship.
Since 2013, Shaked Strul has been performing with the Israeli Vocal Ensemble (Music Director: Yuval Ben-Ozer) and with the Israeli Opera Choir. In the past she sang with Collegium Choir. With the Moran Singers Ensemble she performed as a singer soloist on a concert tour in Argentina. In her performances with the Israeli Opera Choir and with various orchestras - among them the Israel Camerata Orchestra Jerusalem - she sang under the batons of the conductors Daniel Oren, Avner Biron, Kerry-Lynn Wilson, Frederick Shazlen, Yishai Steckler, Eitan Schmeisser and Yoav Ptolemy.
Shaked Strul sings with The Israeli Opera since September 2017. Her operatic repertoire includes Bastienne in W.A. Mozart's Bastien and Bastienne, Voadice in Sarti's Giulio Sabino, the Second Woman in H. Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and other roles. She was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included Vitellia in W.A. Mozart's La clemenza di Tito (2018), Arminda in W.A. Mozart's La finta giardiniera (2019), Papagena in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflote, God in Sebba's Mothers (2019), Blazio in Storace's The Pirates (2019) and others. |
