The Israeli Choral conductor, Yuval Ben-Ozer, studied at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem and the Music School of the Indiana University in the USA.
Upon Graduatiing, Yuval Ben-Ozer served as chorus master in operatic productions of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under the batons of Zubin Mehta, James Levine, Daniel Barenboim and Kurt Masur. He conducted all the foremost Israeli orchestras and was invited to conduct orchestras in Europe and South America.
Yuval Ben-Ozer often works with professional choirs such the New Israeli Vocal Ensemble. With the New Israeli Vocal Ensemble he was invited to participate in many festivals in Germany, France, Belgium and won first prizes in international choirs’ contests - such as Malta (1998), Spain (2000) and Belgium (2001). With the New Israeli Vocal Ensemble he was also invited to participate in the choir festival in Korea during the 2002 Mondial and to perform in Sardinia in 2003. Yuval Ben-Ozer is also the music director of the international choir festival “The Zimria”. |
