The Dutch soprano and violist, Janneke Stoute, started playing the violin at the age of 4. From 2007 to 2012 she was taught by Reinette Thiadens at the Sweelinck Academy of the Conservatory of Amsterdam. She was also admitted to the Haarlem Choir School at the age of 8. She sang there in the solo class under the direction of Sarah Barrett, with whom she took private lessons since 2014. She then took singing lessons for 4 years with Sasja Hunnego through the Conservatorium of Amsterdam. She continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Hague with Rita Dams in the bachelor's program. She has also participated master-classes with Maarten Koningsberger and Margreet Honig, among others. She received honorable mention at the Prinses Cristina Concours 2018.
Janneke Stoute sang as a soloist in one of the talent operas of the Opera Forward Festival of the Dutch National Opera, at the Bimhuis together with the Floris Kappeyne trio and at the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. She currently lives in Santpoort-Zuid. |
