The German bass-baritone, Andreas Schierlinger-Langeheinecke, received his first musical instruction in Zörbig from Cordula Schlemmer and since he was 10 years appeared as a soloist. After graduation in 1990, he studied in Munich and Regensburg as well as philosophy and religious studies in Leipzig, Berlin and Dresden (private) with well-known musicians, singing, choral conducting and composition.
Hissinging repertoire includes both great oratorios of the 17th to 19th centuries and the romantic Lieder. Currently he is working with Joseph Beischer (retired choir director of the Münchner Staatsoper) on his repertoire. Particular focus of his work is the study of the creation of the North German Baroque masters, especially the vocal works of Dietrich Buxtehude. In addition, he is also happy with small musical productions on the stage.
Alongside his work as a singer, Andreas Schierlinger-Langeheinecke works as a choir director at St. Michael in Wolfratshausen and at the Münchner Bethlehemskirche.
Andreas Schierlinger-Langeheinecke is the bass singer and music director of Sacrum & Profanum - Ensemble für Alte Musik München, which he co-founded in 1995. In 2010 he founded the Buxtehude-Kammerchor München, with whom he spent at the year 2010-2011, a concert tour to Moscow. He is a member of the Internationalen Dieterich-Buxtehude-Gesellschaft of Lübeck and the Neuen Fruchtbringenden Gesellschaft zu Köthen/Anhalt of Köthen (Anhalt). |
