The German soprano, Shirley Radig, studied singing and singing education with Lothar Hennig and Professor Monika Meier-Schmid in Magdeburg. In 2006, she began a postgraduate studies in historical singing with Gundula Anders and Marek Rzepka at the Hochschule für Musik in Leipzig.
The center of Shirley Radig's musical creativity is the music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. She works as a freelance singer both as a soloist and as a member of various vocal and instrumental ensembles. Currently she is mainly dedicated to choral singing in the Dresdner Kammerchor (Director: Hans-Christoph Rademann). She is also a member of Vokalensemble Con Anima and Magdeburger Kammerchor (Director: Ludger Rémy).
Furthermore, Shirley Radig works as a singing teacher and choral vocal coach in Magdeburg and the surrounding area. |
