The Argentine choral conductor, composer and singer, Pablo Piccinni (or Piccini), graduated with honors in choral direction from the Faculty of Arts and Musical Sciences of the UCA, where he was a professor of Choral Direction.
Pablo Piccinni is currently Professor of Choral Direction at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel de Falla de Buenos Aires, Professor of Choral Direction at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires "Astor Piazzolla", and Professor of Choral Direction at the la Escuela de Musica J.P. Esnaola”.
Pablo Piccinni directs Periferia Vocal, with which he has won various awards, including the Consejo Argentino de la Música. He is co-director of the Orfeón de Buenos Aires. In addition, he directs the Coro Areco Municipal de San Antonio de Areco and is director and singer of Aurea Polifonía. He is also co-founder of the Ensamble Obra Inversa and the Colectivo de Compositores Música Inaudita.
Pablo Piccinni was national coordinator of the youth and children's choirs of the Children's and Youth Choirs and Orchestras Program for the Bicentennial, dependent on the Ministry of Education of the Nation, between 2009 and 2015. |
