Periferia Vocal (Chamber Choir)

Founded: 1996 - Buenos Aires, Argentina

The chamber choir Periferia Vocal was founded in 1996 as the Coro de Jóvenes del Grupo de Canto Coral (GCC). In 2004 it separated from the GCC and took the name Periferia Vocal. It has given concerts in numerous halls, churches and temples throughout the country. It has developed programs with thematic threads, such as “Mujeres” (2003), from which it has recorded a CD, “Ensaladas” (2001), uniting ancient and contemporary authors, and “El evangelio según la Música” (2004) telling the life of Jesus through authors from all eras that it has also recorded on a CD.
