The Hungarian harpsichordist, Zsuzsa Pertis studied first piano at the Franz Liszt Music Academy of Budapest with Pál Kadosa, later harpsichord at the Music Academy of Vienna, with Isolde Ahlgrimm.
Zsuzsa Pertis has been since 1965 harpsichordist of the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra and has participated in hundreds of concerts, tours and recordings of the world famous orchestra. As a chamber musician she has played with János Rolla, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Sergiu Luca, Thomas Zehetmair, to name just a few. In 1968 she won first prize at the International Harpsichord Competition of Brugge (Belgium). She has made several recordings for the Hungaroton label.
Zsuzsa Pertis has been professor of the Franz Liszt Music Academy of Budapest since 1969. |
