The Galician tenor, André Pérez Muiño, began his musical studies with the piano until the beginning of the study of singing with teacher Luz Alonso in his hometown. After studying piano in A Corunha, he spent a year in Portugal, at ESMAE in Porto, where he studied Singing - Early Music Variant with Professor Magna Ferreira. Just a year after his arrival in Portugal, he moved to the Netherlands, where he studied with Rita Dams, Catherine Wyn-Rogers, Francesca Aspromonte, Robin Blaze and Peter Kooij and where he graduated in June 2021.
In recent years André Pérez Muiño has had the opportunity to work with professionals such as Isaac Alonso de Molina, Michael Chance, Peter Dijkstra, Shunske Sato, Lionel Meunier, Strato Bull and Jos Vermunt, on different projects at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague as well as at international festivals, such as the Granada Music Festival 2021 and the Úbeda y Baeza Antigua Music Festival 2019 and 2021. He performed on stage at the Casa da Música in Porto, the Tivoli Vredeburg in Utrecht, the Auditorio de Galicia and AMUZ in Antwerp. He currently collaborates with ensembles such as La academia de los nocturnos, Vox Luminis (Director: Lionel Meunier) and the Nederlandse Bachvereniging (Director: Jos van Veldhoven / Shunske Sato). |
