Ensemble Parlando was founded in 2002 by Rainer Oster. Its members are experts in historical performance practice. The name "Parlando" says it all: the music of the 18th century is regarded as a "musical discourse".
In cooperation with the Saarländischen Rundfunk Ensemble Parlando created productions of works by J.S. Bach Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. Much praise from the international press received the notice published by BMG / German Harmonia Mundi recording of organ concertos by C.P.E. Bach on the historic Géant organ of the Kirche Saint-Adelphe in Albestroff/Moselle.
The Magazine for Early Music Concerto described Ensemble Parlando as "confident, spirited and despite the small cast sonorous partners," the other renowned ensembles - "about the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin or Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra - in nothing."
The Vokalconsort Parlando has recently (2010) formed a vocal counterpart to 2002 founded Ensemble Parlando, playing on period instruments. In double quartet line-up, the eight soloists give priority to the cantatas and motets by J.S. Bach and his environment.
Ensemble and Vokalconsort Parlando have opened on September 6, 2009 in Ludwigkirche the new series BACHkantaten in Saarbrücken. |
