Elisabeth Neyses (Soprano)

Born: Germany

The German soprano, Elisabeth Neyses, studied singing with Elsa Cavelti at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. She was there a member of Opera School (Opernschule) getting her diploma in 1989. In addition she took Lieder courses with Hartmut Höll and Erika Schmidt Valentin. After graduation she continued her studies in England with Laura Sarti. Since her return to Germany she also participated in singing training with the Fuldaer Fuldaer Müdchenkantorei und den Domsingknaben.

Concerts and broadcast productions led Elisabeth Neyses, among other things, to Ungam, Belgium, Israel and France. In particular her love applies for the music 16th and 17th centuries, whereby she has co-operated with renowned Baroque ensembles as the Capella Savaria and the Drottingholm Baroque Orchestra.
