Kristina Naudé (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Gemany

The German mezzo-soprano, Kristina Naudé, studied at the Universität der Künste Berlin and attended master-classes with Ernst Haefliger, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Josef Loibl.

Kristina Naudé's current artistic activity includes, in addition to various concerts and recitals in Germany and abroad, also radio and television recordings, and engagements with the Bad Hersfelder Opernfestspielen, Landestheater Detmold, Musiktheater Görlitz, Wiener Festwochen, Theater Putbus/Rügen, Goethe-Theater Bad Lauchstädt and am Schloßparktheater Berlin, as well as with various Berlin opera ensembles (Inboccallupo-Ensemble, Oper jetzt!, Neuköllner Oper).

On the opera stage Kristina Naudé has appeared, inter alia, as: Cherubino in W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Ramiro in W.A. Mozart's La Finta Giardiniera, Arminda in W.A. Mozart's La Finta Giardiniera, Dorabella in W.A. Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, 2. Dame in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Hansel in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel, Gertrude in E. Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel, Queen Dido in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Kater in C. Cui's Der gestiefelte Kater, Palmatica in Millöcker's Der Bettelstudent, Mrs. Browe in Lortzing's Zar und Zimmermann, Tiresias in Francis Poulenc's The Breasts of Tiresias, and in Francis Poulenc's one-person opera La Voix Humaine. With the Berliner Kammerphilharmonie she was on a tour of Canada with the W.A. Mozart;s opera La Finta Giardiniera.

As an alto singer, Kristina Naudé has performed at the Internationale Bachtage in Hessen und Thüringen, Uckermärkischen Musikwochen, Berliner Philharmonie (with the Berliner Philharmonischer Chor, Berliner Konzertchor, Berliner Bach Akademie, etc.); at RBB Sendesaal with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin; at the Konzerthaus Berlin (with the Dresdner Kreuzchor, Berliner Cappella, Camerata Vocale, etc.); at the Schleswig Holstein Musik-Festival with Concerto Köln and the Norddeutschen Rundfunk Chor.

As a Lieder singer Kristina Naudé has appeared at the Tutzinger Brahmstagen, Schlosskonzerten Gartow and at Konzerthaus Berlin in the series "musica reanimata". She has also collaborated with the German Radio. Deutschlandfunk. She also participated in a CD recording (as Hänsel) for the production of the opera " Hänsel und Gretel " at the Salzburger Marionettentheater. In 2010 she founded the "Trio Notturno", with which she gives chanson recital;s.

Dvorák: Stabat Mater, Mass in D major; Carl Heinrich Graun: Te Deum; George Frideric Handel: Dettinger Te Deum, Dixit Dominus; Fanny Hensel: Oratorium nach Bildern der Bibel; J. Haydn: Stabat Mater, Nelson Messe, Cäcilien Messe, Arianna a Naxos cantata for solo voice; Karl Jenkins: The Armed Man; Felix Mendelssohn: Elias, Walpurgisnacht; W.A. Mozart: Requiem; Vesperae solennes de Dominica, various Masses; Giovanni Battista Pergolesi: Stabat Mater; G. Rossini: Petite Messe solennelle; Camille Saint-Saëns: Oratorio de Noel; Georg Philipp Telemann: Matthäus-Passion; Antonio Vivaldi: Gloria, Magnificat.

Her Lied repertoire include Lieder Johannes Brahms, Alban Berg, Hector Berlioz, Will Eisenmann, Edvard Grieg, Carlos Guastavino, Fanny Hensel, Gustav Mahler, Felix Mendelssohn, W.A. Mozart, Hans Pfitzner, Franz Schubert, Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann, Richard Strauss, Peter Tschaikowsky.
