The English tenor, Duncan Mckenzie [MacKenzie], began his singing career at the tender age of 5 years, in his primary school Christmas concert. “The other parents were in tears” his mother tells us……perhaps until he stopped singing! His music came to him at school as a trombone player, then a foray into the folk scene playing guitar followed by Barbershop.
Duncan Mckenzie was a member of The Sixteen in the first half of the 1990’s. He is a former assistant director of the Granite City Chorus, and current Director of the Silver City Singers and a member of the vocal ensemble Incognito. |
