The Hungarian tenor and organist, Péter Marosvári, holds a diploma in as organ soloist from the Liszt Academy in Budapest in 1991 and the singing artist's diploma in 1994. He started to played his first organ solo concerts at age 15.
Péter Marosvári has served as tenor soloist in Szeged and Debrecen in Hungary at the National Theatre. He alsp appears as tenor soloist in oratorios.
Péter Marosvári has made 25 recordings and performed on radio and television shows. His latest CD, which was recorded at the Cathedral in Savonlinna, was published in May 2011.
From 1994 to 2004, Péter Marosvári taught organ and solo singing at the University of Pécs in Hungary and has also worked as organ professor at the Daegu Catholic University in South Korea. In 2005-2007 he served as Kantor in Kankaanpää and Hämeenlinna, as well as 2009 and 2010 in Vaasa. In Hungary, he taught piano at the music school in 2007-2010. In 2010-2011 he served as Kantor in the Church of Savonlinna Sääminki (Finland). He has served as Marosvári Oulu Cathedral church organist since August 2011. |
