Noel Mann (Bass) |
Born: Scotland, UK |
The Scottish bass, Noel Mann, has been a member of the Monteverdi Choir (Director: John Eliot Gardiner) and Dunedin Consort (Director: John Butt), as well as the Glasgow Chamber Choir (Director: Michael Bawtree) and Scottish Vocal Ensemble (Director: Mark Hindley).
Noel Mann has sung in the Glasgow Chamber Choir since 2004. Two highlights have been a low B natural in Herbert Howells' Take him earth for cherishing now though superseded by a low A (should have been a Bb) in Sergei Rachmaninov's Nunc Dimittis from The Vespers (we had gone a touch flat!) and a treble clef top A in Jan Dismas Zelenka’s Missa Dei Filii. |
