The German soprano, Susanne Langholf, studied singing at the Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium in Munich. In 1996 she received her diploma in music after finishing her studies at the Musikhochschule Munich. She also participated in master classes with Agnes Giebel and Kurt Widmer. Further singing training by Angela Maria Blasi. Intensive study with Seth and Kathleen Riggs in Los Angeles, California.
Susanne Langholf participated in the opera productions: 1991 in the role of Amor from Gluck’s Orpheus in a performance of the Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium under Ullrich Weder. 1992 appearances as the first boy in the Mozart’s Zauberflöte and 1996 as Marzelline in L.v. Beethoven’s Fidelio.
Susanne Langholf has had engagements as a soloist in renowned Festivals: Bach Cantatas at the International Bach Festival, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater at the Festival de musique a Saint-Victor in Marseille, Hanne in Haydn’s Jahreszeiten at the Festspiele Europäische Wochen.
Her repertoire includes: Mozart’s Requiem, C-minor Mass and Exsultate Jubilate, J.S. Bach’s Johannes (BWV 245)-, Matthäus (BWV 244) and Markus-Passions (BWV 247), Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen (BWV 51), several cantatas and Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248), in addition George Frideric Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation and an extensive Lieder and musical program. |
