The Polish mezzo-soprano, Joanna Lalek, graduated in 1999 from from the Warsaw Academy of Music F. Chopin (Akademii Muzycznej im. F. Chopina) in the harpsichord class of Professor Władysława Kłosiewicza. Singing she studied in the class of Professor Hanny Rejmer, graduating in 1998. She has participated in master-classes for interpretation of Baroque music by Kai Wessel, Nicholas Parle and Ingrid Wierod . Hher singing developed under the guidance of Olga Pasiecznik, Kaudi Kaudowa and Jack Laszczkowskiego. In the academic year 2005-2006 she studied Baroque singing (Class of Roberta Invernizzi) and chamber music (Class of Mary Galassi) at the Accademia Internazionale della Musica in Milan.
Joanna Lalek specializes in stylish performance of early music with particular emphasis on the Baroque cantatas Due to his extensive vocal abilities also sings jazz and gospel .
Joanna Lalek is also an active teacher teaching singing and voice production at the Diecezjalnym Studium Muzyki Kościelnej and the Wyższym Seminarium Duchownym in Siedlce. |
