The German choral conductor, organist and church musician, Reinhard Krämer, was born in Kirchheim unter Teck and grew up in Nürtingen, Bad Cannstatt, Michelbach am Wald, Oberboihingen. In 1978 he graduated from the Evangelischen Aufbaugymnasium Mössingen (now Ev. Fistwaldgymnasium). From 1978 to 1982 he studied Protestant church music at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen, obtaining B Diploma.
From November 1982 to January 1996, Reinhard Krämer was Kantor and organist of the Sonnenberggemeinde Stuttgart. From 1980 to 1994 he was a member of the Kammerchor Stuttgart (Director: Frieder Bernius). He received singing lessons with Lil Dahlin-Nowak and Eva Sava-Basch.
Since February 1996, Reinhard Krämer has worked as choirmaster and organist with 70% employment in the Ellwanger Kirchengemeinde. His service level initially covered: 20% organist activity in all services of the church; 20% of directing the Ellwanger Kantorei; 20% the planning and execution of the musical events of the parish; 10% directing the Kinderchor (children's choir)
Since 1995, Reinhard Krämer is a member of the Landeskirchlichen Mitarbeitervertretung (National Church Employee Representation). In 2000 he was elected from this body in the Arbeitsrechtliche Kommission (Labor Law Commission), which brought with it a higher exemption. Consequently, the management of the children's choir has been taken out of the service contract. In the same year he took over the chairmanship of the Mitarbeitervertretung der Kirchengemeinde Ellwangen (Employee Representatives of the Ellwangen Parish). That resulted after some time in the reduction of the teaching load of musical events to 15%. Since 2004, he is chairman of the Mitarbeitervertretung im Kirchenbezirk Aalen (Employees' Representatives in the Church District Aalen). |
